Gathering to Worship

Our worship service follows a traditional format, including a call to worship, Scripture readings, a sermon, intercessory prayer, and hymns that inspire and uplift. We gather in person each Sunday at 9 a.m., and we warmly welcome those who prefer to join us via Zoom. If you'd like to attend virtually, please email us to request the Zoom login information. Whether you join in person or online, you will find a supportive and welcoming community ready to worship together.

How to Join Our Church Service on Zoom

What You Need Before Starting

  • A computer, tablet, or smartphone with internet connection
  • The Zoom meeting link (we'll email this to you each week)
  • About 5 minutes before service starts

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Click the Link

Step 2: Wait for Zoom to Open

  • Your computer may ask "Open Zoom?" - click "Yes" or "Open"
  • If you don't have Zoom installed, it will download automatically
  • This may take 1-2 minutes - be patient!

Step 3: Choose How to Join Audio

  • A box will appear asking about audio
  • Click "Join with Computer Audio" (this is usually the best choice)
  • If you have trouble hearing, try clicking "Phone Call" instead

Step 4: Turn On Your Video (Optional)

  • Look for a small camera icon at the bottom of your screen
  • If it has a red line through it, click once to turn your camera on
  • Don't worry if you prefer to keep it off - you can still participate!

Step 5: You're In!

  • You should now see other church members on your screen
  • To hear better, use headphones or turn up your volume
  • Wave hello to everyone!

Quick Troubleshooting

"I can't hear anything"

  • Check if your volume is turned up
  • Look for a microphone icon with a red line - click it to unmute

"People can't hear me"

  • Look for a microphone icon at the bottom
  • Click it if there's a red line through it

"I accidentally left the meeting"

  • No problem! Just click the link again to rejoin

"The link doesn't work"

  • Keep your phone nearby in case you need to call for help
  • Practice joining a test meeting before Sunday (we can set one up!)

Remember: We're all learning together, and there's no such thing as a silly question. We're just happy you're joining us online!

Grace UMC shares the core beliefs of the United Methodist Church.

At the heart of our faith is a belief in God, the Creator of all, and in Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who showed us how to live with love and compassion.

Jesus was crucified, and through His suffering, death, and resurrection, salvation and new life are offered to all, freely given by the grace of God.

As people transformed by this grace through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are called to share God's love and the stories of His faithfulness with others, so that they, too, may come to know and experience His love.
